What’s up folks? What are you doing lately? If you’re still busy with your Christmas preparations, consider taking a quick break. Reading a funny comics or watching light action movies can help you relax. And we’re doing the latter here. The Christmas rush can be so suffocating so it is a must to unwind once in a while. You don’t have to go that far. Staying at home is sometimes way better. The latest movie we have watched is Bunraku. Quite unique action film.

We are also making the most out of online streaming. Since it is a bit difficult to download old animes, we contented ourselves with free online streaming. We’re on the second season of Slayers now and the anime copy is quite good.

I wonder if YouTube have copies of this anime because I didn’t bother searching. But if there is any, I might use you tube video downloader to have personal copies. Plus, I can watch animes even if I am not connected online. And I can do it anytime instead of streaming during midnight because it is the time when our internet connection is most stable.

Your opinions are just that, – opinions, regardless of where you got them from. They are tiny, a speck compared to the immensity of God. I was pressuring myself to accomplish a lot. So when something went wrong yesterday, I almost cried in disappointment and disbelief. I was working on my very first ebook project but I just have to start all over again… later.

Yes, I was frustrated. But I’ve learned that I really have to work on my expectations and order of priorities. I love blogging and every part of it, but there are times that I go crazy and cramming. I’d like to build links, create new post, submit articles and more.

I can do things simultaneously but I think it would be better if I can figure out which is urgent and which is important…

a lot of things you think are important, are just urgent, but not important. Focus on what really matters.

A phone call for example is always urgent – it rings only a few times and is gone, but is often not important. If you are in the middle of something truly important – playing with kids, being present with your loved one, – do not stop just because a silly phone rings. Stay present with what’s important now.

Life is full of struggles. Sometimes, we have to deal with the daily challenges on our own. Remember, you can do it! Rest if you must, but don’t you quit!

If you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find one at the end of your arm.

And a time always comes when you discover that you have two hands: one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

And there are also other people who are willing to extend a helping hand to you. We call them… our loved ones.

I’m always busy. Everyone knows that. Blogging is my job so I’m very dedicated and passionate about it. I love blogging so it is not difficult for me to write, build links, and earn from it. But I have to take a break from time to time. I am almost 24X7 online and people can always reach me through Facebook. But it doesn’t mean that I am all work all-day. I usually watch anime during the wee hours.

Whoa! Yeah, right, anime marathon with my boyfriend from midnight ’til dawn. It kinda works for me. We’re also watching movies that we’ve missed before. We’re done with Arakawa Under the Bridge season 1 and we might start season 2 next week.

And because those movies and animes are eating up my laptop’s disk space, I have to transfer several files to my portable hard drive. I’m thinking of burning them to DVDs but I prefer RW over the DVDs that I have right now. Since I have plans of giving away some copies to my cousins in Batangas, I’m also looking for free fast cd duplication software. Hoping to find one soon!

Suddenly, I just wanted to check my horoscope for today and I think this one has something to do with yesterday’s birthday party. Lol.

It takes patience, faith and bravery to ride out a storm … and you have all those qualities right now. In the midst of a social event today, you might feel a sweet breeze suddenly turn into a cold wind. A storm may blow over the group. Its destructive effect is not up to you — so don’t let yourself feel the weight of that responsibility. Run for cover if you must, but have faith that with honesty and compassion, the storm will be little more than a small damper on the party.

Though, I can’t remember anything like that happened last night. It was a super happy party for Selphie’s first birthday! Happy birthday my dear.

Celebrate Christmas!

I’m kinda pressured and excited about this coming Christmas. Pressured because I don’t have any Christmas bonus to expect yet I have to spend more on gifts and holiday preparation. At the same time, excited as always and every Christmas. What I’m more excited about is the thought of spending the Christmas eve with my family. When I was working as a Technical Support Engineer, I didn’t celebrate Christmas at home. I was always at work. Now, it will be different and for sure happier.

I guess, people are also doing a lot of preparation for the Yuletide. Christmas lights always caught my attention at night while passing by big houses and business establishment. And I think, these blinking colorful lights will be a good photo subject. Yes! Thus, I wish to do some photowalk with my friends with the title, “Christmas Photowalk”. I am finally shooting pictures once again so I am ready to take more shots! I’ll definitely have a good time with Chandler, my DSLR. I have plans of buying digicam, too so that I’ll have something more handy during special occasions. Still thinking about going for olympus digital cameras.

Recession is also a time of great opportunity.

Time and time again success has its roots in failure, because failure knocks you down from top of the hill so you can then climb a mountain. Yes it’s unsettling, yes it’s scary. But this can be your greatest opportunity in life, – if you choose it. The recession has cleared the space of clutter, – think what have you always wanted to do but brushed aside from the top of your hill? Now is the time…

The weather hasn’t been good yet but we still decided to go out and attended the Sunday afternoon mass. It was still drizzling and I wasn’t feeling well but I had to bear with it. Right after the mass, we didn’t have the chance to pamper ourselves and dine out as usual. We must head home or else, we’ll be caught under the heavy rain and traffic.

Our only stop-over was at the mall, SM San Lazaro. Not to shop around but to buy some groceries and my personal stuff. It just so happened that we passed by G2000 boutique and we bought a polo and a top. Impulsive buying or whatever, I was happy that I did. It made me feel better. We also bought a blue towel at Surplus store. Well, it’s hard to resist cute and comfty stuff. Plus, it was a good deal since they were on sale. If only there were TanTowel on sale, I might grab them as well.

Once we’re done with the grocery, we left SM supermarket and headed home. Such a tiring but a rewarding day with my boyfriend!

With Christmas season fast-approaching, I can really feel the Yuletide breeze every morning. The air is always fresh and invigorating. Here in Batangas, waking up at dawn to help our parents with the farm goods will require much effort. Why? Simply because it’s too cold to get up that early! We’re not living a luxurious life to have indoor fireplace or infrared heater so we have to brave the cold weather. We’re used to it anyway.
